SPORTS MASSAGE
A combination of techniques can be used during the sports massage treatments, if you are looking for a particular type of therapy then please speak to your therapist during the appointment. The modalities used during a sports massage treatment are as follows:
IASTM (instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilisation), Percussion Therapy Gun Massage, Dry Cupping, Dry Needling, Acupuncture, Osteopathic Articulation, Kinesiology Taping.
INITIAL APPOINTMENT
If this is your first appointment then this where you need to start. The initial appointment includes a detailed consultation which lasts approx 25 minutes. This consultation includes posture analysis, range of movement tests and special tests for ruling out certain conditions and enables us to build a picture of what is wrong and forms the basis of your treatment to ensure the best possible outcome.
FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS
If you have already been to us and had your initial consultation and are looking for a follow up treatment, then this is where you can book this. The 30 min treatment is ideal if the therapist is working on a small area of the body. The 50 min treatment is ideal for 1 large area and 2 small areas (although the therapist can do a full body treatment in this time, more focus will be spent on the problem area) and the 80 min treatment is perfect for a thorough full body sports massage.
PRE-PAID VOUCHERS
Do you have a pre-paid TherapyFit voucher? Book it here using the links for the the correct clinic you have bought the voucher for. If it is your first visit your voucher should include a consultation. If you have bought a voucher for the wrong clinic, then please give us a call and we will make the necessary changes.
BLOCK BOOKINGS
Block bookings allow us to provide a discount for those who wish to have or need regular treatment. Our block bookings are valid from one year to two years, which means there is no rush to take them and you can space out your treatments. We don't sell block bookings for the sake of it, so if you feel you would benefit from this service then please contact us or speak to your therapist when you attend your appointment.
MANUAL LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE
MLD is a light, skin-stretching massage that helps promote the movement of lymphatic fluid out of the swollen limb. It should not be confused with a traditional massage. MLD is specifically focused on the lymph vessels to help the flow of lymphatic fluid. Therapy is applied to your unaffected areas first, making it possible for the fluid to move out of the affected area, or “decongest” the region
INITIAL APPOINTMENT
If this is your first appointment then this where you need to start. The initial appointment includes a detailed consultation which lasts approx 10 minutes. This consultation enables us to build a picture of what is wrong and forms the basis of your treatment to ensure the best possible outcome. The 60min treatment is ideal for a full body treatment and the 40min treatment is ideal for an half body treatment (upper or lower body)
FOLLOW UP APPOINTMENTS
If you have already been to us and had your initial consultation and are looking for a follow up treatment, then this is where you can book this. The 30 min treatment is ideal if the therapist is working on half of body (upper or lower). The 50 min treatment is ideal for a full body MLD treatment.

PREGNANCY MASSAGE
A pregnancy massage is a specially adapted gentle and soothing massage tailored specifically for the mother-to-be. As a term, ‘pregnancy massage’ applies to any hands-on massage treatment for a woman during her pregnancy. It can therefore vary enormously in terms of what it consists of. However, for many women, pregnancy massage benefits include easing aches and pains, as well as facilitating relaxation and preparation for labour. Not suitable for those within their first trimester.
