How early should I arrive for my appointment? Please allow for ample time to park or if arriving by other means take into account the traveling time to enable you to arrive no earlier than 5 minutes before your appointment time, this will save you waiting too long. During the evening after 17:00 and all day weekends we do not have a receptionist on site, therefore the doors are locked for security reasons. If you arrive 5 minutes before your appointment it will ensure we are free to wait for you in reception or to come out and allow you access to the waiting area. What happens if I am late for my appointment? If you are late for your appointment please be aware that the therapist has the right to reduce the length of your treatment or decline treatment in line with the clinics schedule, we will endeavour to be as reasonable and accommodating as we can,. This is due to the fact that the clinics operate on an appointment system and can have a knock on effect to other patients. This is why we ask that you arrive approximately 5 minutes before your appointment and throughout the website you will find driving instructions to us along with pictures of what the building looks like. If you have any issues please ensure that you where possible you can keep us updated via text or call on 07897032030.

What happens during my consultation?During the consultation process we go through your details and medical history. We assess your suitability for sports massage treatment, your injury, pain or complaint and devise a treatment plan you are happy with. The consultation process takes about 15-25 mins to fully complete.
-
Do I have to get undressed in front of the therapist? No, we respect your privacy and have screens or curtains in our clinics which can allow you full privacy whilst getting ready before and after your treatment.
-
Is the treatment painful and will I get bruising? The therapist will always work with pressure that is suitable to your threshold. Throughout the treatment your therapist will ask how you are finding the pressure and make any necessary adjustments. Depending on your skin type or hydration levels, you may experience some pain, redness or slight bruising after your treatment. You may also experience slight DOMS (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness) for a few days after treatment.
-
Does cupping cause bruising?Cupping does not cause bruising, but it may cause some discolouration on the skin that can last a few days to a week. These marks are toxins and stagnation of blood which is being released through the cupping process. This will not cause you any pain or discomfort.

What happens if I have paid for my treatment and I do not attend? Our booking system allows you to cancel or re-arrange your own appointments so please utilise this to its full functionality. We have a strict 48 hour cancellation and re-scheduling policy which you can view when you confirm your appointment via our system. If you fail to follow this policy then unfortunately the session will be forfeited and will not be re-booked. If you have also paid a deposit, this will also be non-refundable.
